Declaration of the Poets International Pen Club

We are in a turbulent era. The wars in Europe and the Middle East have seriously undermined the peace and tranquility of the world and have caused the death and displacement of millions of innocent lives. We condemn the initiators of the war and call for an immediate end to the war!

We are in an era of hope. Artificial intelligence has made breakthrough progress, and interstellar immigration is moving step by step from dreams to reality. The unprecedented technological revolution is rapidly changing our lives and will have a positive and huge impact on many predicaments of human survival. We may face a new and better future!

As a part of humanity-poets, we witness the ever-changing cold and heat, morning and evening in different parts of the world, and personally feel the pain, anger, sadness, longing and joy brought to us by this world full of turmoil and hope. It is the poet's duty to record them in the language of poetry; it is the responsibility of poetry organizations to fully spread and communicate the language of poetry in different countries and different languages.

The Poets International PEN Club is based on the principle of "peace, freedom, and thought". Loving peace, pursuing freedom, and independent thought should be the principles that every poet should follow.

The Poets International PEN Club looks forward to poets, translators, critics, editors, and poetry promoters from all over the world joining our global, public welfare social organization. By jointly organizing poetry activities, organizing poets to write, editing and publishing journals, and establishing international websites, we will provide poets from all countries with a communication platform for poetry translation, discussion, and dialogue, and make joint efforts for the development and prosperity of world poetry.

Poets, friends, let us break the barriers of region, nation, and culture. Under the banner of "peace, freedom, and thought", we will work hand in hand to make our positive contribution to the progress of human civilization!
