That year she came home from work with a bunch of cabbages in her hand.
She makes better cabbage soup than boiled cabbage.
But for a diabetic, no matter how good the soup is, you have to cut back.
She said I knew him then, he was 20.
I'm very reluctant as a sister.

正从新二村
偷偷跑到河边上去洗澡
而在书中，张维维也到了北京
去见他的父亲春桥同志
吃完午饭，张维维问她爸
下一步有啥打算
她爸说，我哪有什么打算？
就等他们千刀万剐吧
北京，七月，蝉鸣一声一声
张维维抬头向远，我们呢
春桥沉默
然后轻轻自言不晓得，也许年底就好了
结果没到年底
张维维现在（2018）也70了


Night Reading: the Zhang father and daughter

Read a book in the middle of the night about July 1976.
I was on summer vacation.
He was sneaking out of Xin Er Village to the river to take a bath.
And in the book, Zhang Weiwei also traveled to Beijing
To meet his father, Comrade Chun Qiao.
After lunch, Weiwei Zhang asked her father.
What's the next step?
Her father said, "Where was I going with this?
Let's just wait for them to make a thousand cuts.
Beijing, July, the cicadas chirp.
We were looking away. What about us?
Chun Qiao said nothing first.
and then he said I don't know, maybe by the end of the year.
It wasn't the end of the year.
Zhang Weiwei is now (2018) 70.
