Now every time I look down from above
My heart beats like a drum, and I want to grab something
If it’s any higher, I would be like a coward
With my legs trembling
In those days, I used to pick fruits
On top of the tree and rob birds’ nests on the cliff
How did fear come about? In those days
I climbed a ladder to the sky
While now I just want to give up half way
Being afraid to look back, I can do nothing but keep moving
Step by step, downward
The substantial human world
Going back slowly, full of shame

如今每从高处俯瞰
都心跳如鼓，想找个什么抓住
若是再高些，则两股战战
像个标准的懦夫
想当年老子可是高枝上
摘过果子，峭壁上掏过鸟窝的
怎么就怕了呢，想当年
我也曾搭过登天的梯子
而今到了半程，渐渐心生归意
不敢回头看，只能像上来时那样
一步步踩稳，踏实，向着低处
坚实的人间，满怀羞惭
慢慢退回去
