The Wind Blows The Dust
By Wu Hanchi
The wind holds up the tree branches
Also presses them downwards
Outside the window, a leaf is going away from the Phoenix Tree
The shadow hidden behind the glass
Is betrayed by the glass
In the early autumn the climbing ivy at the wall corner
Has not woven the sharp teeth of a tiger
The wind blows the dust. The walking beings wrapped with
Dust, surely and finally walking to being dust
While I, always carry and embrace the silence
Pretending to do nothing and waiting
For being wakened by a stone
Or, by the golden breeze at incoming dusk
