Stars kiss you in the sky
With your peak floating there
You leave the mundane air
There's a green-haired god
Who meditates in a cloud
He sits in a mount cave
To me no words he'd gave
I come and run into him
Thus I beg for eternal life
He then smiles and tells me
The secret and the pills' key
Which I tries to memorize
Then like a flash he vanishes
To impress me with a start
And fill passion in my heart
Hence I will work on the drug
Off earthly affairs I'd shrug

蟾蜍薄太清，蚀此瑶台月，
圆光亏中天，金魄遂沦没。
蝃蝀入紫微，大明夷朝晖，
浮云隔两曜，万象昏阴霏。
萧萧长门宫，昔是今已非。
桂蠹花不实，天霜下严威。
沉叹终永夕，感我涕沾衣。

The frog dims the welkin
and devours the moon
The sky is thus darkened
and the moon's soul stolen
Behold the rainbow!
That pales the gold glow
Clouds come to shroud all
which get dusky overall
The once bustling palace
Is reduced to a lone place
where the laurel trees eaten
and cold chills their fruits
I cannot help but bemoan
and tears drop on my boots
