Always they wipe the darkness in the night
Into pieces that couldn't be washed to white
And few people in the world
Would be fond of the dirty
wiping things

The old who I saw when I was young
Gradually couldn't be seen
Gradually the people before me
Get older in my sight
Fewer and fewer can be seen
As I see no one before me
I'm just standing near the clif of life
