The Sunshine is turbid
I write down this illusion
Two black goats lie side by side
and for the sheep
on lying down the illusion of grass in their eyes
that is the best background for rest
The goatherd is mowing in the ditch
with his aged head showing now and then
so that he can see his goats and
the shadow of man in the cotton fields
I couldn't write out another word
and he is looking at me again
between two goats and a turbid morning in the fields
